We realize everyone has different reasons for running, whether it be for fitness, competition, recreation or beer. Beth, you are one of a kind, a true adventurer. You just love what you do and it shows.
As your coaches, our main objective is to see you healthy again. Your immune system will not heal your body if you are stressing your body too much. So in order to "enjoy" running again, sometimes less is more. With your doctors assistance hopefully, we can get you back on the right track. Until then, one step at a time!
Beth, utilize this journal as a tool for communication, a journal of your running (and health). As you post communications, it will build a continuum of events which will be helpful to look back upon for future training reference. It is a huge tool for Dave, Mike, and I to use to see how your running is going and based on these communications, we may make changes to your custom training calendar. So, have fun with it and journal away!
